Hot L Baltimore opened on March 22, 1973 at Circle Repertory Theatre (now Circle in the Square Downtown), where it ran for 1666 performances, closing on January 4, 1976. It was written by Lanford Wilson and directed by Marshall W. Mason. Sets were designed by Ronald Radice, sound was designed by Charles London, and costumes were designed by Dina Costa.
